I have been teaching for more than 5 years. Starting off as a maths tutor, I became a full time teaching assistant. Since then, I have taught chess at primary and secondary, as well as English at language schools. I am a certified chess tutor and a fully qualified English as a foreign language teacher. I am currently studying Politics and International Relations at University of Sheffield and I have continued teaching online.

Expertise

Mathematics

Having achieved a 9 in GCSE Maths and then As in AS level Maths and Further Maths, I have taught both SATS and GCSE level students. I have a passion for the subject and can teach from early primary all the way to SATS, GCSEs and early KS5.

Chess

I have played chess for more than 15 years. In this time I have played for the England Junior Chess Squad, achieved a rating of 2100+ (2500+ online) and had years of experience teaching online, one to one, and in classrooms. I trained to teach chess in schools while working alongisde experienced players and coaches.

Languages

After completing a CELTA and receiving a Pass A grade, I have taught English in a number of different language schools and tutored online.

I am also available to teach Spanish to beginner and intermediate learners and I have C1+ proficiency.

Essay Writing
